Also, on a serious note, The ARL just heroically broke up a travelling, illegal petting zoo and rescued dozens of emaciated, freezing animals. This means their expenses have just bumped up considerably. Whether you do it by picking up a copy of BDB or not, they could really use your help. Take that $5 you were going to spend at Starbucks and save an animal instead:
Over the weekend, BDB founder Jason Dunn made the trip to Hyannis, MA to join Cat Wilson on Cool 102’s New England-Centric program, “The Cheap Seats”, play a heaping handful of songs on the air including Reverse, Ted Billings, Gene Dante, Parks and many others, talk about cats, music, the weather, and pizza.
Also, Jason has been nominated “Producer of the Year” for his work as executive producer of the BDB compilation. A huge honor. To cast a vote in his favor, click here: http://nemusicawards.com/nominees
Here they are! We’ve had the digital copies up for a week, but we know a lot of you out there like HQ audio and having a physical trophy of righteous proportions in your hands. So here you go:
Enjoy, and tell your friends! Every disc sold is more food and medical care for our little furry friends.
Press Roundup
There was such a flurry of attention for the cause last week that we literally couldn’t keep up. We’ve corralled most of it together on our Press page now, so go read up!
We’ve made the Metro! You’ll see one on the bus/subway/train today, pick it up and check it out! Great article, some choice quotes about “cover wishes” from our bands.
Our first entry into the world of print! Innumerable thanks to Tom Keilty and the Dig for highlighting our cause and the upcoming weekend of amazing shows!
It’s here! Check out our MUSIC page to listen to any and all of the 26 tracks on the massive album.
On the SHOP page, you can pick up the whole record, or if you click through the songs or the album to the bandcamp site, you can even buy your favorite tracks at $1 apiece. Again, all the money goes to the Animal Rescue League of Boston, so don’t be shy!
