The project that is vols. 1&2 is coming to fruition – the CDs are in production as we speak, and the shows are lined up for the weekend of Dec 13th through 15th in Allston, MA. It’s been a long year getting it all together, but the support has been overwhelming and positive all along the way.
The two CDs will be headed by both sides of our initial “split single” between Township and Jenny Dee & The Deelinquents, the only two groups on the comp to actually cover each other. Both tracks are catchy as all hell, and both are BRAND NEW – not just for the artist covering the song! These folks found their way into each other’s upcoming material and covered each song before the original was even released. Check it out:

After these two scorcher openers, each disc draws a huge circle around all 26 participating artists, from Will Dailey’s cover of Reverse to Reverse’s cover of I, Pistol and so on, wrapping up with Nemes turning in a gorgeous cover of Will Dailey at the end of the second disc.
